Low Fat Banana Bread


You could also add some chopped walnuts for a little crunch and a boost of protein. Nutrition info below is for a nutless bread.
Ingredients:
1.5 cup flour
1.25 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
2 egg whites
1 cup mashed banana
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup applesauce
Directions:
Combine banana, egg whites, applesauce, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Add dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt) until well mixed. Pour batter into bread pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the loaf comes out clean.
